LEINSDORF in Philadelphia

This week's new releases brings the unique opportunity to hear Erich Leinsdorf conduct an almost-complete Philadelphia Orchestra in two major symphonic works.
Operating in its summertime guise as the Robin Hood Dell Orchestra of Philadelphia, in 1952 the orchestra performed and then recorded Brahms' Symphony No. 1 and Franck's Symphony in D minor under Leinsdorf's baton, two recordings ripe for rediscovery in Mark Obert-Thorn's excellent transfers for Pristine!

BRITTEN PROMOTION To mark the 110th birthday of composer Britten, this week we're offering a 20% discount on all his recordings. Offer runs until 24 November.
