This week we present three musical titans, Jascha Heifetz, William Primrose and Gregor Piatigorsky, in string trios by Beethoven and Schubert, in RCA studio recordings made for LP releases in 1957 and 1960.
Alas the original recordings were pretty badly made, and it's taken 60 years or more to undo the damage - Pristine's XR remastering has utterly transformed these recordings.
