Like the proverbial London bus, you wait 75 years for a Boult Mahler Symphony - then three come at once! Symphonies 5, 7 and 8 were all performed live on BBC radio in 1947 and 1948 by the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Boult's baton, their broadcasts captured off air by an intrepid home recordist with multiple disc cutters. No other recordings of these works by Boult are known to exist.
