CALLAS sings Norma

The 1960 stereo remake of Bellini's Norma was the last opera Maria Callas recorded in Italy and marks a major end-point to a string of 24 fabulous recordings that began only 8 years earlier.

With long-time collaborator Tullio Serafin conducting and a strong supporting cast, this gem of a recording sounds even better in its stereo, XR-remastered format from Pristine.

We also celebrate a ten year collaboration this week with the recordings of Jascha Horenstein, as curated by the conductor's cousin, Misha Horenstein, with a special discount on all Horenstein recordings this week.
