PAMX002

Excerpt from Fauré's Ballade:

Welcome to our world!

This collection of beautiful and inspirational music from some of the greatest performers of the twentieth century is an ideal introduction to the musical world of Pristine Audio. Each one of the twelve tracks included on this MP3-only recording has been lovingly restored from the original discs by Andrew Rose and Peter Harrison for release by Pristine Audio during 2005-6.

With a collection spanning the entire range of classical music, from the medieval Gregorian Chant of the Monks of Beuron Abbey, through Bach, Beethoven and Brahms, to the late Romanticism of legendary 'lost' British composer, George Butterworth, who died tragically in the battlefields of the First World War, and the early modernism of Debussy, there is something inspirational here for everyone.

The MP3 can be transferred to CD with the help of the cue-sheet and instructions included in this download - together with full colour printable covers to slot into a jewel-case. This makes an idea gift idea to introduce a friend or loved one to the wonderful world of Pristine Audio's music!
