Joyce Hatto - The Ultimate Recording Hoax - Part 4
This CD is not what it seems:
Independent academic research uncovers another fake 'Hatto'
Example 5: Nope, not Hatto - this time it's Eugen Indjic!
And amazingly, this was revealed today, 16th February, following entirely independent academic research at the Research Centre for the History and Analysis of Recorded Music, Royal Holloway College, The University of London.
The centre's Director and Professorial Research Fellow in Music, Nicholas Cook, has now published online their own astonishing finding, made through an entirely unrelated study of performance techniques in a variety of recordings.
We have yet to investigate a Hatto recording that has not proved to be a hoax.
*Sleevenotes included wherever present in original CD booklet. We provide sleevenotes either direct from record companies' digital source material or from our own scans. In the latter case we normally scan English language content and libretti only. Scanned notes pass through OCR software and can be treated as text files - all are offered as Adobe Acrobat PDFs.
